Holy Mother’s Tithi Puja

The one hundred and sixty fourth birthday of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated on Tuesday, 20th December 2016.


The event begun with mangalarati at the Thakur Ghar followed by a special worship of Sri Ramakrishna and Havan. At Thakur Ghar students of Class VII to XII presented small speeches on selected topics on the life and teachings of Holy Mother in Hindi and English.


A wall magazine ‘Sarada Chetna’ was released on the occasion at our Higher Secondary Section by Mrs. Matey, Vice principal, H.S. School, Deomali.


At noon Kichuri prasad was served to all present.



In the evening at our Vivekananda Sabhagriha Sri Tridip Kumar Mohal presented a few Bhajans followed by Bharatnatyam dance recital by Sri Pritam Das of Kolkata.

Annual Sports Day




The final inter house cricket competition of the Secondary Section was held on 01/12/2016 at Mahavir stadium between Samrat Ashoka House and Rana Pratap House. Samrat Ashoka House bagged the trophy.



The final inter house basketball competition of the Secondary Section was held on 03/12/2016 between Chatrapati Shivaji House and Samrat Ashoka House at Mahavir Stadium. Samrat Ashoka House won the shield.

The 42nd Annual Athletic Meet of the school was held on 16-17th of December 2016





The 42nd Annual Athletic Meet of the school was held on 16th and 17th of December 2016. Sri Jitendra Kumar Meena, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tirap, unveiled the sports flag and declared the meet open. The heat competitions were held on 16th and finals were held on 17th.. Mst. Wangseng Lowang, Mst. Phochoi Wangsa, Mst. Donglang Tangdong & Mst. Sengtukong Enling are the individual champions in Junior, Intermediate and Senior Group respectively.

Christmas Eve was celebrated.




Christmas Eve was celebrated with due solemnity at Thakur Ghar on 24th December 2016.

Details of winter and distress relief work:

In the month of December we have distributed Gents Garments: Shirt – 705, Trouser – 750, Sweater – 437 & Sweat Shirt – 100; Ladies Garments : Top – 417 & Trouser – 417. Socks – 348. Etc., to the poor and needy in different areas of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.

Besides the above, we have also distributed 210 Nos. of Woolen Sweater, Tooth Paste, Hair Oil, Bath Soap, Washing Soap, Shampoo, Drawing Khata, Camel Was Crayons, Exercise Khata Ball pen, Pencil, Eraser and Sharpener among 210 school children at Devabhumi and Deomali under Deomali Sub-Division of Tirap District.
